Daniel Stewart

Daniel Stewart is a coach for the US Equestrian Team and resides in Andalusia Spain.  You may have been fortunate to see his presentations at the USPC Annual Meeting in January.  He has been coaching current and future prospects of the U.S. Riding Team since 1999. Most recently he coached the US team at the World Equestrian Games in Spain, World Endurance Championships in Dubai UAE and the 2004 Athens games in Greece. Prior to becoming a US coach he taught and competed around the world including Canada, Mexico and Europe. He speaks French and Spanish, has a degree in Exercise Science and Psychology and has worked as sport psychology consultant to many national riding teams including Portugal and Canada. Ponkapoag Pony Club is sponsoring this clinic on Sat & Sun Sep 27th and 28th.  The location is still to be determined.  The Sunday session is filled, BUT THERE ARE A FEW OPEN SPACES AVAILABLE FOR THE SATURDAY CLINIC.  This clinic will be open to all levels and will focus on flat or fences, whichever is most appropriate for each rider, and will include:

This format will start with 30 minutes of videotaping your ride, then unmounted lecture and video analysis, followed up by mounted instruction to address the points brought up in the video.

 

The fee is $200 per Pony Clubber ($165 for the clinic plus $35 facility fee).  Payment in full is required now, and is non-refundable.  (However, if you find you cannot participate, and your spot can be filled by another pony clubber, a refund may be possible).  It's a great opportunity to train with a fantastic Olympic Coach!  A check for $200 payable to Ponkapoag Pony Club representing your commitment is required ---  A registration form is attached 

***Auditors are welcome for the mounted portions of the clinics only on both Sat & Sun (exact schedule will follow at a later date) and must pay a nominal fee of $5 per day.
